Why Bologna?
Bologna is a strategic, accessible and host city. Its position, transport network, academic identity and business vocation make it an ideal location for an international NO-DIG event.
The 43rd edition of International NO-DIG will be held at the same time as the 21st edition of Accadueo, which will take place in Bologna on 11–13 October 2027, while maintaining its own identity and visibility.
For over 30 years, Accadueo has been the first and only international trade fair in Italy dedicated exclusively to the civil and industrial water sector, a key event for dialogue between institutions, associations and companies, which is fundamental for the systemic development of the sector.

How to reach the congress venue
Public transport to and from BolognaFiere
Take bus lines 35 and 38 from Piazzale Medaglie d'Oro, in front of Bologna's central station, to reach BolognaFiere (about 4 km away). Buses 35 and 39 run back to the station. Stops are at the Piazza Costituzione and Viale Aldo Moro entrances.
Bus 28 also connects the city centre (less than 5 km away) to the venue.

Bologna Centrale is one of Italy's busiest rail hubs, served by Trenitalia and Italo with more than 700 trains a day.
From the station you can take a taxi at the Piazza Medaglie d'Oro exit, catch buses 35–38, or walk around 30 minutes via the Carracci exit.
During major trade fairs, the dedicated "BolognaFiere" railway station is also in service.
Bologna's Guglielmo Marconi Airport is 8.5 km from the venue.
The Marconi Express monorail connects the airport to Bologna Centrale station in 7 minutes.
From the airport, a taxi is the recommended option.
Private cars and transport
BolognaFiere is the first exhibition centre in Italy with its own dedicated motorway exit.
Coming from Florence, Milan or Ancona: take the "BOLOGNA FIERA" exit on the A14.
Coming from Padua (A13): exit at the Arcoveggio toll, take the Bologna ring road toward San Lazzaro, then leave at exit 8 (Nord, Michelino, Moro and Michelino Parking entrances) or exit 7 (Costituzione entrance and car park).

VISA Information
For some nationalities, a Visa is required in order to enter Italy.
Foreign participants should contact the Italian Embassy or Consulate in their home country to determine their particular Visa requirements. Participants requiring Visas should initiate the application process at least 3 months prior to their departure date.
The Organising Secretariat OIC is not able to assist participants with their Visa application and cannot intervene with Embassies or Consulates on behalf of any participant.

Only participants fully registered in the congress can obtain a personal invitation letter and only once the full payment of the registration fee is received.
Please note that the Visa invitation letter only aims at assisting participants who need to obtain a Visa or permission to attend the Congress and it is not a commitment from the organisers to cover any kind of expenses or to provide any financial support. All expenses incurred in relation to the conference remain the sole responsibility of the participant.
